A transformative combination of restorative Gentle Yoga and energizing Kundalini Yoga. The afternoon includes movement, meditation, breathwork, mantra and immersive sound.
HP Bio: HariPrakaash teaches Kundalini Yoga, Meditation and Gong Sound Healing. In 1996 she began her practice in Woodstock, New York. She has been a teacher of Yoga since 2006. Her training in Kundalini Yoga began with Harijiwan, that relationship which continues to grow, expands her devotion and gratitude to these sacred teachings. Her Sadhana (personal practice) and classes benefit from her love for music, creative spirit and connection to planet Earth. You will find HariPrakaash at various music, yoga festivals, retreat centers like Menla and Yoga studios in the Tri-State of NY area as well as Los Angeles, CA. She holds an International KRI certification in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. HariPrakaash has attended and is certified in dozens of KRI Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 trainings. Shawn is a yoga educator. For the past 14 years she has been immersed in the study and practice of yoga and is dedicated to sharing this experience. She teaches yoga and meditation throughout the Hudson Valley to a wide variety of age groups and populations. Shawn is interested in cultivating self-awareness rather than self-improvement, and brings this spacious attitude to all her teaching. Shawn is passionate about breath, mindfulness and loving-kindness. She believes that getting to know ourselves through the practice of yoga and meditation is a path to being happy, healthy and kind human beings.
Shawn trained at Sivananda Ashram in India in 2004. Then spent 4 years living, working and teaching at Ananda Ashram. She has been studying with her teacher, meditation master Shiva Rudra Balayogi, for the past 12 years.
