The practice of yoga has become a vital part of contemporary society. Individuals from all backgrounds report tremendous physical, emotional and psychological benefits both from the practice and the sense of community a skilled teacher brings to each class. Ananda Ashram Yoga brings over fifty five years of experience, to offer a truly unique training course in the art, science, philosophy and psychology of yoga. Our beautiful 85 acre campus is the perfect place to retreat and renew while developing technique and exploring the ancient, timeless wisdom with depth and focus. Our program dives deep into the physical practice with a emphasis on the Mysore tradition and how it translates into sequencing modern classes. Students will learn how to lead gentle, restorative as well as vigorous yoga classes with attention to anatomy, alignment and individuality. The course will also empower each student with the rich spiritual and literary legacy which is the root of yoga, for their own enlightenment and to help others.

6-8a.m. Meditation, Pranayama & Asana Practice

9:30-12:30 Morning Class
12:30-1:15p.m. Lunch
1:30-5:30p.m. Afternoon Class
5:30-6:30p.m. Dinner
7-9p.m. Evening Class (only Saturday)
